About our Program

This Campus Crime Stoppers Program allows students to provide anonymous tips in order to help the school administration and local law enforcement solve crimes.  The students in the Coppell ISD will receive a monetary reward ranging from $10 - $1,000 if the tip proves instrumental in solving the crime.  This Campus Crime Stoppers Program promotes school spirit, pride and responsibility and allows students to take action against victimization and crime in their school.

The Coppell ISD program is offered at Coppell High School, New Tech High, and the three Middle School campuses.  The success of the program often depends directly upon the support of the school administration.  The more encouragement and publicity the administration gives the program, the more successful the program on each campus is likely to be.

The program is operated in partnership with the Coppell Crime Commission and the school administrators, School Resource Officers, and a Student Advisory Board.  The Student Advisory Board is composed of students appointed to market and advertise the program, help raise funds, and review and publicize information about crimes related to their campus on behalf of Campus Crime Stoppers.

The Coppell Crime Commission is responsible for handling the Campus Crime Stoppers hotline and Web site, providing monthly statistical reports to each campus upon request, assisting with advertising campaigns, program oversight, and authorization and payment of rewards.  The Coppell Crime Commission will be the only agency to disperse the reward funds.

Mission Statement

The Coppell Crime Commission, Inc. (CCC) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation that relies on fundraising through local businesses to fund a local Campus Crime Stoppers program for the Coppell Independent School District, including Coppell High School, New Tech High, and the the three Middle School campuses. Our mission is to provide students a trusted place to give anonymous tips and information by phone, text message or Web site pertaining to any illegal activities on their campus or within their city, thus providing a drug free and safe learning environment. The CCC believes in the principle behind Campus Crime Stoppers that “someone other than the criminal has information that can solve a crime.” The CCC offers secure, cash rewards for validated tips that prevent a crime or lead to the arrest for an illegal activity.  The reward amount is decided by the CCC Board of Directors and all tips are confidential and protected by law in the State of Texas.
