Welcome to the Web site of the Coppell Crime Commission, Inc.  Our Campus Crime Stoppers Program is designed to create and maintain safe school campuses for our children to learn.  Our program designates a tips hotline number 972-436-TIPS (8477) that students may call to report any illegal activity such as drugs, weapons, violence, vandalism, theft, arson, etc. on campus. 

Our program is designed to allow the student to remain completely anonymous by issuing them an ID number, which is what they use to claim their cash reward.  The student does not provide his/her name or any personal information.  If the tip leads to an arrest, school suspension or expulsion, recovery of a weapon or stolen property, or seizure of illegal drugs, the student becomes eligible for a cash reward up to $1,000.

Our program encourages students to take responsibility for their own safety and that of their friends and fellow students.  Students are often the first line of defense and, if given an avenue to report illegal activities anonymously, they can save the lives of their friends, teachers, and other school personnel.  The program also serves as a deterrent to potential offenders by letting criminals know there are repercussions for their actions.

CISD's Campus Crime Stoppers Program relies on volunteer Directors and tax deductible contributions from local businesses and citizens to fund the reward payments and the marketing and promotion of the program.

The Coppell Crime Commission is certified as a Texas Crime Stoppers Program by the Texas Crime Stoppers Advisory Council, which operates out of the Office of the Governor in Austin.
